Matthew Wendel Arranges Food

This photograph shows Matthew Wendel, as owner of the catering and events business Wendel's Way, arranging food for a private event in Texas. In 1995, Wendel became acquainted with George W. Bush while working as a caterer-waiter at the Governor's Mansion in Austin, Texas. After Bush became president, Wendel cooked for the first family during their visits to Camp David and the Prairie Chapel Ranch, their residence near Crawford, Texas.
